the other tutor's answers were correct except for the last one in which the correct solution should have been 3x + 5y = 9 rather than 3x + 5y = 11.

that was a minor error in subtraction at the end.

also, the final answers were not in the correct format you requested.

the standard form of a linear equation is ax + by = c

you needed the form of ax + by - c = 0
