*[youtube OxYUS4QkAWU] In this video lesson I explain an important property of chords. A chord is a line segment with both end points on a circle. It is a line from one point of the circle to another. Now the property: it is actually an important theorem. If two chords intersect inside of a circle, then they split each other into two parts each (two shorter line segments). The product of the lengths of the parts of the chords are equal. We use this to solve several problems. For more details see the video.
