   : View Source, ShowAbout bperkhou: I am a student at Stanford University. In this video lesson I explain an important property of chords. A chord is a line segment with both end points on a circle. It is a line from one point of the circle to another. Now the property: it is actually an important theorem. If two chords intersect inside of a circle, then they split each other into two parts each (two shorter line segments). The product of the lengths of the parts of the chords are equal.
