Question 661569: Find an equation of the circle with center at the origin and passing through (−2−2) in the form of
(x−h)^2+(y−k)^2=r^2 where hkr are constants.
I found radius of 8^(1/2).
h & k are not (2, 2) or (-2, -2). I'm thinking h & k are (4, 4), because it equals to the radius. Please find h & k, thank you!

Question 661589: Please help me figure out this problem: 2x^2+2y^2+16x+8y−32=0 is the equation of a circle with center (h,k) and radius r for: h, k, and r
I got 2(x^2-8x+16) + 2 (y^2 + 4y + 4) = 32 +16 +4
divide by 2: (x-4)^2 + (y+2)^2 = 26
(4, -2) and radius of sqrt 26 or 5.09901951
my homework page has confirmed that only -2 was correct. Where did I make a mistake?

Question 664492: I have the Lat Lon coordinates of three points that lie on a large circle (radius somewhere between 12-15 miles). How can I find the Lat Lon of the center of the circle? The differences in elevation are less than 100', so I assume one can assume flat earth.
I'm not even certain as to how to try this, as I've been out of school over 40 years and most things of this sort that I learned are pretty well gone at this point.
