You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Area+of+sheet+%2F+area+of+disc+=+number+of+discs

Area of sheet = 84*24=2016 cm^2
Area of disc = pi * r^2= pi*4^2= 50.26

2016/50.26= 40 numbers

Discs of radius 4 cm are cut from a rectangular plastic sheet of length 84cm and width 24cm.How many complete discs can be cut out?
----------------
There's some wasted material due to the shapes.
Each disc can consume a square of material 8 by 8 cm = 64 sq cm
84/8 = 10.5 --> 10 rows
Overall, you get 3 by 10 = 30 discs
-------------
More might be possible by offsetting rows, I'll check again later today.
