Question 193050: what is the area of a circle with circumference of 18 pi centimeters? Give your answer in terms of pi. i think i should refer to theorem 11-7 and 11-8. i cannot show you what work i have done on this because my keyoard does not have a symbol for pi. thank you

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Very typical problem
remember Cir=2(pi)R,,,,and Area = (pi) r^2
by finding r, the problem becomes easy
given cir so lets start there
c=2(pi)r=18(pi)
or 2*r=18
r=9
Area = (pi) r^2=(pi) 9^2=81(pi)
