Question 1013791: A cake has a circumference of 30cm and a uniform height of 7cm. A slice is to be cut from the cake with two straight cuts meeting at the centre. If the slice is to contain 50cm3 (Volume) of cake, find the angle between the two cuts, giving the answer in radians to 2 significant figures.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A cake has a circumference of 30cm and a uniform height of 7cm. A slice is to be cut from the cake with two straight cuts meeting at the centre. If the slice is to contain 50cm3 (Volume) of cake, find the angle between the two cuts, giving the answer in radians to 2 significant figures.
------
Volume of the cake = pi%2Ar%5E2%2Ah
r = 30/(2pi)
--> Vol+=+pi%2A%2815%2Fpi%29%5E2%2A7+=+1575%2Fpi cc
Angle = 2pi*50/Vol
= 100pi^2/1575
=~ 0.63 radians
