Question 875604: How do i show my work for this problem, i know the answer but i dont how it became that answer. The measure of the second angle of a triangle is three times the measure of the first angle. The measure of the third angle is 12 degrees less than twice the measure of the first. Find the measure of each of the three angles.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let x be the first angle, then second angle is 3x and the third angle is 2x-12
we know that
x +3x +2x-12 = 180
6x = 192
x = 32
therefore the three angles are
32 degrees, 96 degrees and 52 degrees
note that
32 + 96 + 52 = 180
