Question 841221: state the radius of the circle defined by each
equation and give the coordinates of one point
on the circle.
a) x^2+y^2=49
b) x^2+y^2=15
c) x^2+y^2=64
d)x^2+y^2=1.44

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x^2+y^2=49

radius = sqrt%2849%29 = 7,  (±7,0) and (0,±7) are points on the circle

b) x^2+y^2=15

radius = sqrt%2815%29, (%22%22+%2B-+sqrt%2815%29,0) and (0,%22%22+%2B-+sqrt%2815%29) are points on the circle

 c) x^2+y^2=64

radius = sqrt%2864%29 = 8,  (±8,0) and (0,±8) are points on the circle

d)x^2+y^2=1.44

radius = sqrt%281.44%29 = 1.2,  (±1.2,0) and (0,±1.2) are points on the circle
