-3%2F%28x-4%29+=+1 Multiply both sides by (x-4)
-3+=+%28x-4%29 Add 4 to both sides.
-3%2B4+=+x
x+=+1
Check:
3%281%29%2F%281-4%29+=+3%2F-3 = +-1
