2x%5E2-3x%2B1+=+0

factoring

(2x - 1)(x-1 = 0 Note:SUM of the inner product(-x) and the outer product(-2x) = -3x

 (2x - 1)= 0

      x = 1/2 crosses x axis at Pt(1/2,0)

 (x-1) = 0

      x = 1   crosses x axis at Pt(1,0)
