Question 95236: Good Morning and God Bless You,
I am struggling through College Algebra. I do not understand utilizing graphs, but I am spending all waking hours trying!
My problem is: Use the graph of y=x2+4x+5 to answer the following:
a. Using the graph what are the solution(s) to the equation -x2+4x+5=0?
b. Does this function have a maximum or a minimum?
c. What are the coordinates of the vertex in (x,y) form?
d. What is the equation of the line of symmetry for this graph?
The questions go on and on, but that is my limit of four. I asked one other question of this site last week which was extremely helpful. Also, how do I sign up for tutoring? I do believe I need extra help. Thank you in advance and God Bless you.

------------------------------------------------------------------
Y=X^2+4X+5
+graph%28+300%2C+200%2C+-6%2C+5%2C+-10%2C+10%2C+y+=+x%5E2+%2B4x+%2B5%29+ (graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -10 to 10, y = x^2 +4x +5).
the minimum (-2,1)
coordinates are (-2,1) & (0,5)
