If all 14 coins were ten-centavo, Mary would have 10*14=140
Her actual total is 100. That's a difference of 40.
The difference between ten-centavo and five-centavo is 5.
40/5 = 8, the number of five-centavo coins
8 @ .05 = .40 (five centavo)
6 @ .10 = .60 (ten centavo)
.40 + .60 = 1.00
