You lost your x^2
4x%5E2-7x%2B3=7x-7x-4x%5E2%2B4x%5E2
4x%5E2-7x%2B3=0
a=4, b=-7, and c=3
It looks like you want to use the quadratic formula, but this could have been solved through factoring. I'm going to follow your lead and use the quadratic formula.
