You can put this solution on YOUR website!
This one can't be factored. Use the quadratic formula.
x+=+%28-b+%2B-+sqrt%28+b%5E2-4%2Aa%2Ac+%29%29%2F%282%2Aa%29+

Where the equation is in the form ax%5E2+%2B+bx+%2B+c+=+0

So, a = 6, b = 7, and c = -25.

y+=+%28-7+%2B-+sqrt%28+7%5E2-4%2A6%2A%28-25%29+%29%29%2F%282%2A6%29+

Simplify what is under the square root and the denominator.
y+=+%28-7+%2B-+sqrt%28+49+%2B+600+%29%29%2F12+

This leaves you with:
y+=+%28-7+%2B-+sqrt%28+649+%29%29%2F12+

This also leaves you with a situation where you have to decide if you need to get a decimal answer or if it is okay to leave it in the radical form.
