(x+a)(x+b) --> x%5E2+%2B+%28a%2Bb%29x+%2B+ab and you have 1x ie (a+b) has to be equal to +1

So, pick any pair of numbers that add to 1 eg +4 and -3...your c value here is -12: x%5E2+%2B+x+-12 --> (x+4)(x-3) etc.
