Again, why would you want to use the quadratic formula?? This one ALSO factors:
f%28x%29+=+x%5E2+-+4
f%28x%29+=+%28x-2%29%2A%28x%2B2%29=0
->-> x=+2 or x=+-2

Graphing looks like this:
