UR QUESTION IS 2x^2 +5x =12
this can be written as 2x^2 +5x - 12 = 0(just bring the 12 from right on the left,this will change the sign of the number)

now, simplify the expression and find values of x by factoring.
therefore
(2x-3)(2x+8) = 0
the values of x are 3/2 and 4 (8/2=4).
