(x+10)(2x-3)=54
2x^2+20x-3x-30=54
2x^2+17x-30-54=0
2x^2+17x-84=0
(2x-7)(x+12)=0
2x-7=0
2x=7
x=7/2
x=3.5 ans.
x+12=0
x=-12 ans.

2x^2 -3x+20x -30 = 54
2x^2 + 17x -74 = 0
x = [-17 +-sqrt(17^2-4*2*-74)]/4
x = [-17 +- 31]/4
x = 7/2 or x = -12
