x+%2B+y+=+2+, EQN 2
In EQN 2, we get
y=2-x, EQN 3, & subst in EQN 1:
4x%2B3%282-x%29=12
4x%2B6-3x=12
4x-3x=12-6
highlight%28x=6%29, subst in EQN 3:
y=2-6=highlight%28-4=y%29
