You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2(x+1)^2+7(x+1)+3
---------------
It's a quadratic with variable x+1.
---------
Let x+1 = w and substitute to get:
2w^2 + 7w + 3
Factor:
2w^2 + 6w +w + 3
2w(w + 3) + w + 3
(w+3)(2w+1)
----------------
Substitute back to x's:
(x+1+3)(2(x+1)+1)
= (x+4)(2x+3)
