Well, to make it easier, we can first multiply both sides by -1
(-x^2-3x+5)(-1) = 0(-1)
x^2+3x-5 = 0
Now use the quardratic formula to solve
x=%28-3%2B-sqrt%283%5E2-4%281%29%28-5%29%29%29%2F%282%281%29%29
x=%28-3%2B-sqrt%2829%29%29%2F2
SO the answer can be %28-3%2Bsqrt%2829%29%2F2%29 or %28-3-sqrt%2829%29%2F2%29
