USING THE QUADRATIC EQUATION:x+=+%28-b+%2B-+sqrt%28+b%5E2-4%2Aa%2Ac+%29%29%2F%282%2Aa%29+ WE GET:
X=(7+-SQRT[-7^2-4*1*5])/2*1
X=(7+-SQRT[49-20])/2
X=(7+-SQRT{29])/2
X=(7+-5.3851648)/2
X=(7+5.3851648)/2
X=3.6925824 ANSWER. OR APPROXIMATELTY 3.693
X=(7-5.3851648)/2
X=1.6148352 ANSWER. OR APPROXIMATELY 1.615

x = [7 +-sqrt(7^2 -4*1*5)]/2
x = [7 +-sqrt(69)]/2
x = [7 + sqrt(69)]/2 or x = [7 - sqrt(69)]/2

What are the approximate solutions to 3 decimal places.
x = [7 + 6.3066]/2 = 7.6533.. or x = [7 - 6.3066]/2 = 0.3467
