You can put this solution on YOUR website!
SOLUTION -
f(x) = 3x%2B3sqrt%28x%29-6
taking sqrt+%28x%29=y
therefore x=y%5E2
we have
3y%5E2%2B3y-6
3y%5E2%2B6y-3y-6
3y%28y%2B2%29-3%28y%2B2%29
%28y%2B2%29%283y-3%29
y%2B2=0
y=-2
3y-3=0
3y=3
y=1
now sqrt+%28x%29=y
substituting the value of y we have
when y=-2
sqrt+%28x%29=-2
x=%28-2%29%5E2
x=4
when y=1
sqrt+%28x%29=1
x=1%5E2
x=1
