(5/x-3)=(x/x+1)
5(x+1) = x(x-3)
5x+5 = x^2-3x
0 = x^2-8x-5
a = 1
b = -8
c = -5
---> plug values into the quadratic forumla
--->simplify
--->simplify
--->simplify sqrt(84)
---> divide by 2
