Question 1153798: Hi,
Can I get help with this question
This polynomial is factorable, so you should be able to find the roots without using the complete the square method.
However we're going to walk through the process of completing the square as practice for those polynomials where you cannot use the factoring method
Solve the equation for x
x^(2)+6x-27=0
Step 1: Separate term fro the variables
Step 2: Complete the square
Step 3: Factor the complete square
Step 4: Use the Square Root Property
Step 5: Finish solving
Thank you.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! x^2 + 6x - 27 = 0
x^2 + 6x = 27
x^2 + 6x + 9 = 27 + 9 = 36
(x+3)^2 = 36
x+3 = 6
x = 3
=================
x+3 = -6
x = -9
