You can put this solution on YOUR website! Hi, my name is Aaron I am in 10th grade and im in honors trig/pre-calc.
When something is raised to the negative first, all it does is drop the term into the denominator. So it will be - (y+5)^-1
_________________
5y
which then simplifies to
-1
__________
5y(y+5)
hope this helps. by theway I would really appreciate it, if you wrote me a reccomendation!
