You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The given 3 equations are:

1) +x%5E2%2F9+%2B+y%5E2%2F16+=+1+

This is an equation in the form of +%28%28x%5E2%2Fa%5E2%29+%2B+%28y%5E2%2Fb%5E2%29%29+=+1+

On comparing, we find that the given equation represents an ellipse.

Hence, the graph looks in this way.

The second equation is: +4x%5E2+-+9y%5E2+=+36+

Comparing this equation with the standard equation +%28%28x%5E2%2Fa%5E2%29+-+%28y%5E2%2Fb%5E2%29%29+=+1+ we find that the given equation represents a hyperbola.

Hence, the graph looks in this way.

The third equation is:

x+=+%28y%2B1%29%5E2+%2B+2+

This can be written as:

y+=+%281+%2B-+sqrt%28x+-+2%29%29

Hence, the graph looks like this.
