You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-6x = y
2x + y = -2
-6x - y = 0
2x + y = -2
Add together
-4x = -2
x = -2/-4
x = 1/2
Substitute x = 1/2 in
2x + y = -2
2(1/2) + y = -2
1 + y = -2
y = -2 -1
y = -3
x= 1/2 y = -3
x - y = 1
y = 3x + 3
x - y = 1
-3x + y = 3
Add
-2x = 4
x = 4/-2
x = -2
Substitute x = -2 in
x - y = 1
-2 - y = 1
-y = 1 + 2
-y = 3
y = -3
x = -2 y = -3
Hope this helps.
