You can put this solution on YOUR website! .
I do not think that the problem is worded and formulated correctly.
I do not think so BECAUSE this formulation CONTRADICTS to the simplest business/human logic.
Indeed, if to interpret the condition LITERALLY, then
- for 50 boards the worker is paid 5*50 = 250 dollars
- for 51 boards the worker is paid 8*51 = 408 dollars.
It means that the business elementary HUGELY OVERPAYS in this case, which normal (adequate) business WILL NEVER do.
The change, which should be made in the formulation, is OBVIOUS, but,
respecting the holy right of the problem composer, I will leave it entirely for the composer's care.
From the other side, re-editing and re-formulation are absolutely necessary, because in this form the problem is NONSENSE.
After re-editing and reformulation, the solution and the answer BOTH will be TOTALLY DIFFERENT.
Your understanding will be different, TOO.

Hello, although I issued my critics about the problem formulation, you, the visitor,
should understand that I play on your side.
Therefore, I ask you do not post anathema to me for pointing deficiencies in your post.
You will do it much better, if you will post your "THANKS" to me for my explanations.
