x+3 m/minfor faster
30 minutes for 450 meters is 15 meters/min
combined speed is 2x+3 m/min
2x+3=15
2x=12
x=6 m/min for Delia
x+3=9 m/min for Becky

one of them moving at the sum of their speeds
and the other one standing still, so I can say:

+v+=+6+ m/min
and
