You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Shonda is picking a movie to watch from her streaming queue of 18 dramas and
10 comedies. She decides she’s not interested in some of the movies anymore so
she removes 8 of them, 2 of which are dramas. If she picks a movie at random
from the remaining list, what is the probability that she will pick a comedy?

Instead of doing it for you, I'll change the numbers, and explain how I got the answer,
then you can do the same with your numbers.

Shonda is picking a movie to watch from her streaming queue of 26 dramas and
17 comedies. She decides she’s not interested in some of the movies anymore so
she removes 11 of them, 6 of which are dramas. If she picks a movie at random
from the remaining list, what is the probability that she will pick a comedy?

Shonda is picking a movie to watch from her streaming queue of 26 dramas and
17 comedies.

So she has 26+17= 43 movies

She decides she’s not interested in some of the movies anymore so
she removes 11 of them, 6 of which are dramas.

So she removes 6 dramas as well as 11-6=5 comedies.

Now there are only 26-6=20 dramas and 17 comedies.

So she now has 5+17=22 movies.

If she picks a movie at random
from the remaining list, what is the probability that she will pick a comedy?

There are 17 ways she can successfully pick a comedy out of the 22 movies.
So the probability is 17/22. That does not reduce, so the answer is 17/22.

Now do your problem the same way.
