Question 1112398: Determine the critical region and the critical values used to test the following null hypotheses.
(a)
H0: μ = 59 (≥),
Ha: μ < 59, α = 0.1
(b)
H0: μ = −92 (≥),
Ha: μ < −92, α = 0.05
(c)
H0: μ = 110,
Ha: μ ≠ 110, α = 0.02
(d)
H0: μ = 15.8 (≤),
Ha: μ > 15.8, α = 0.01

You can put this solution on YOUR website! In order to know the critical region, we need to know the standard error, standard deviation, some measure of variability, and the sample size. a, b, d are one way tests and all the critical region is on one side. c is a two way test, and the critical area is divided into two parts equally, one part on each side.
