You can put this solution on YOUR website!
An ice cream parlor offers four flavors of ice cream three sauces, and two
types of nuts. How many different Sundaes consisting of a single flavor of ice
cream plus one or more toppings are possible?
Notice that the flavors are not like the toppings. We can say "yes" to only 1 of the 4 flavors.

So there are only 4 ways to choose the 1 flavor.

For each of the 4 ways to choose the 1 flavor, we can say "yes" or "no" to each of the 5 toppings.
So there are 25 or 32 ways to choose or reject the 5 toppings.

Answer 4×25 = 4×32 = 128 sundaes.
