Question 927994: Write the expression as a sum and or difference of logarithms express powers as factors. Problem: log base 5(25x) I tried this: log base 5 25+log base 5 x so if you put it in exponential form you get 5^x=25 and 5^x=x. I'm not sure if i'm doing this right. I get lost in the steps. The answer is supposed to be 2+log base 5 then big x. Found 2 solutions by jim_thompson5910, MathTherapy:Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source):
