= (3y - 6y - 2)(-y)
= (-y)(3y - 6y - 2) <-- So it is easier to read.
= -3y^2 + 6y^2 + 2y
If you factor that, you would get:
y(-3y + 6y + 2)

Try the second equation on your own so you get a shot at it.
