Question 20700
In order to get rid of a number times x, you need to divide. Just beucase you are working with fractions, it does not change a thing. So, in order to solve, you will divide both sides by -7/10. This gives you {{{((-3/5)/(-7/10))=x}}}. In order to divide by fractions, simply multiply by the reciprocal of the second number, which means that to solve, you will actually do {{{(-3/5)*(-10/7)}}}, which is {{{(30/35)=x}}}. This reduces to {{{(6/7)=x}}}.
