1) square root then under the sign it has 4x square root + 8x + 4
2)square root 15 then square root 21 (side by side) I know the answer is cubed square root 35,

I can't imagine how you would get a cuberoot out of your #2.
I also cannot figure out what your #1 says.

I suggest you use sqrt for square root, cubrt for cube root and
that you use parentheses so we can tell where each radicand 
begins and where it ends.

For example, I could write #1 as sqrt[4x*sqrt(8x+4)], but I'm not
sure that is your problem.
