Question 135392
The problem is: 2x+3y=7
x=2
So would it be 2(2)+3(y)=7? How do I get y?
4+3y=7 I would think that y would equal 1 since 3*1=3+4 would equal 7
However, I am not sure if this is the way the problem needs to be worked out.

I believe you have it.
You substituted 2 in place of x and solved for y.
You solution would be (2,1)
