Question 133933
Given: {{{y=(1/2)x - 6}}}  If the formula reall is {{{y = 1/(2x) - 6 }}} then dont use x = x :)

Use x =0, plug in to get y =-6. Plot point (0,-6)

use x = 2. Plug in to get y = {{{1-6}}} = 5. plot point (2,-5)

Two points are all you need to plot the line

{{{graph(600, 400, -10, 10, -10, 10, 0.5x - 6) }}}
