Question 131694
You are given {{{y=ab^x}}}.

(1,2)
2=ab^1
ab=2

(2,8)
8=ab^3
ab*b^2=8  Substitute ab=2

2b^2=8
b^2=4
b=2 (assume base number to be a positive number!)

ab=2, where b=2
a=1

{{{y=ab^x}}}

{{{y=2^x}}}
