Question 2320
i have done gradients of straight lines before..look at my explanations there.

gradient is (change in y)/(change in x)

Re-arrange any straight line to y=mx+c..then m is the gradient.

so 5x-3y = 6
-3y = -5x+6 OR...
3y = 5x-6
y = (5/3)x-2

gradient is +5/3

3. {{{a^2b^6}}}

4. {{{(m^5n^7)/(m^3n^2)}}}
{{{m^2n^5}}}

5. linear equations... see the many examples i have done before.

6. {{{(3^8)^2}}}
{{{3^16}}}
