Question 130157
I am not sure of these categories because I am new to college algebra. the question is Find the area of a fenced yard with a lenght of 18 yards and a width of 10 yards.
<pre><b>
That's not typical of college algebra.

That's more like a fifth grade math problem.

To find the area of a rectangle, you multiply the length by the width.

Area = length x width = (18 yd) x (10 yd) = 180 sq. yds.

That's taught in elementary school.
