Question 128286
This problem is a linear equation. It can be solved by graphing to find all the points that will satisfy the equation. First let us convert the equation to slope intercept form {{{y=mx+b}}} with m being the slope and b being the y-intercept (0,b).

{{{4x+8=6y}}}

Divide both sides by 6 to isolate the y variable
{{{(4/6)x+8/6=(6/6)y}}}

This leaves us with {{{(4/6)x+(8/6)=y}}}

We can simplify the fractions to get them to lowest terms

{{{4/6=2/3}}} and {{{8/6=4/3}}}

When we put the equation in the proper order we get {{{y=(2/3)x+(4/3)}}}

From this we can see that the slope is {{{2/3}}} and the y intercept is (0,4/3) or (0,1.33)

We can now graph the y intercept at (0,1.33) and take the slope which is {{{rise/run}}} and locate our next point.

{{{graph(300, 300, -10, 10, -10, 10, y=(2/3)*x+(4/3))}}}

Thanks!
