Question 19192
Okay the slope intercept form is y=mx+b

To find the slope or m
you take the y out of the second set of number subtracted by the y in the first set of numbers then divide it by x out of the second set of numbers subtracted by the first x of the first set of numbers it will look like this

7-5/2-1  or 2 over 1 or 2

so far you have y=2x+b

then you have to figure out b

so you plug in coordinates
5=2(1)+b
5=2+b

you take 5 subtracted by 2

so 3=b

so your equation is y=2x+3
