Question 122088
I have no idea how to do this problem:

{{{x^(3/2)=27}}}

<pre></b>
Raise both sides to the power which is the
reciprocal of {{{3/2)}}}, which is {{{2/3}}}

{{{ (x^(3/2))^(2/3) = 27^(2/3)  }}}

Multiply the exponents on the left, getting {{{(3/2)(2/3) = 1}}}

{{{x^1=27^(2/3)}}}

Now use the fact that

{{{B^(M/N) = (root(N,B))^M}}}

to rewrite the right side:

{{{x = (root(3,27))^2}}}

The cube root of 27 is 3, so

{{{x = (3)^2}}}

{{{x = 9}}}

</pre>
