The only time this happens is when you replace an equal sign with either a greater than or equal sign *[Tex \Large \ge] or with a less than or equal sign *[Tex \Large \le] 



For instance, if you have the simple equation {{{x=3}}} and you replace the equal sign with a greater than or equal sign *[Tex \Large \ge], you get {{{x>=3}}}. So we can see that 3 is a solution to both {{{x=3}}} and {{{x>=3}}}.
