Question 118544
The sum of the measures of the angles of any triangle is 180 if the measures are expressed in degrees, in other words:  {{{R+S+T=180}}}

Angle {{{T=S+40}}}
Angle {{{R=8S}}}

So:  {{{8S + S+(S + 40) = 180}}}

Collect terms and solve:

{{{10S + 40=180}}}
{{{10S=140}}}
{{{S=14}}}

{{{T=14+40=54}}}

{{{R=8*14=112}}}

Check:  Does {{{14+54+112=180}}}?

Hope that helps,
John
