Question 117728
1) The following are the first Quiz scores from a previous class:
	9.5, 7.5, 9.5, 7, 10, 7.5, 6.5, 1.5, 8, 10

A.	Is this data discrete or continuous and why?
This set is discrete because there are values in the range
0 to 10 that are not present.
------------------------------

B.	Develop a frequency distribution showing all frequencies, cumulative frequencies, and relative frequencies.
Can't do that on this site but I ran the data on a TI calculator and
got the following frequency distribution:
000--3.625..........1
3.625-3.625.........0
3.625-7.875.........4
7.875-10............3
10-12.125...........2
==========================
Cumulative frequencies are: 1,1,5,8,10
Relative frequencies are: 10%,0%,40%,30%,20%
==========================
..	Calculate the Variance and Standard Deviation and describe what they tell you in the context of this problem.
Variance = 2.4^2
Standard Deviation = 2.4
