Question 180318
.
This question is from textbook
a) Find the area of a trapezoid with a height of 9 m and bases of 7 m and 25 m
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
        In the post b @HyperBrain, the basic formula and calculations are incorrect.
        The correct solution is in my post below.
Given the two bases a and b, and the height h of a trapezoid, the area is given by
        A = {{{((a+b)/2)*h}}},
so the area of the trapezoid you're given is   {{{((25+7)/2)*9}}} = {{{(32/2)*9}}}) = 16*9 = 144 sq. meters.
Solved correctly.
